Too good here in Ballarat. Crops and pasture are crying out for rain. Even though I have not worked the land for nigh on 50 years I still realise how important the agricultural sector and its people are.

it's 4.45 am in Mount Gambier , went outside and it's a lovely morning it's labor day long week end. looking back toward Adelaide lots of lightening. suppose to be a shocker today gail force winds,rain , thunder . maybe a day inside.

Cairns is warm, not to humid and endless blue skies. A strong S/E this afternoon on the coast. Snakes are about and croc's are in love and moving between water holes.

just spent last 3 weeks in Cape National Park, Exmouth, WA - only had 2-3 days when it wasn't constantly windy - mpst guys in their tinnies found it too rough to go out.
Now at Exmouth. Very little wind but typically hot - about 38-42 during day and round 20 at night
