Point Lowly and Fitzgerald bay Sa cold, 13.6 at 10 am wind is app 60 = 80 km's gusts a hour here, heading north in about 3 weeks up towards Emerald Qld, maybe further to Mareeba.
Minus 8 in Walcha Friday morning still a while to go to get the minus 12 and 15s' but something to look forward to, not many free campers here at the moment

I cannot understand how ,I wear about 4 or 5 peaces of clothing ie tops gloves , beanie and scarfs when I go out, and I see some one in town just with a pair of shorts and t-shirt and thongs..!!! not fair!!!!!
I am getting worried that I am turning into a banana bender, I am feeling a nip in the air here in Townsville early in the mornings now and as I do this My arms and feet feel chilly. Days are great though in the high 20's. Looks like a windcheater will come out of moth balls in the morning.

I just had a few days up in Sydney and it was like the Tropics ...9 C O/nite up to 20 C during the day. Got back to Canberrrrrraa and there is SNOW on the surrounding hills. Bloody Hell it is ccccccccold. BUT only 2 more weeks and I head north.

Kununurra North WA. Not as hot here, "only" 26 degrees today with a stiff wind from the deserts in the south-east.
Sarg, we lived in Canberra for over 20 years, it was the winters that finally gave us the incentive to move to the coast... the wind used to blow straight off that snow on the Brindabellas to our home!

And that's why we live on the coast! 1C overnight but then up to 18C during the day - for a short time - then it started falling again as the sun went down.

Visitors from Sunbury Victoria, reckon it's colder at Ipswich than at home. They both had to put jumpers on, during the day!!! I've never seen that on any of their previous visits.

I am up on the Atherton Tablelands FNQ. Overnight a bit cool down to 9c but warming up to a pleasant 26c during the day.
Mareeba is the next stop at the rodeo grounds Kerribee Park. I will head off there after the rodeo has finished this weekend.
