Gday...
WHEW - I was just about to identify the photo - it was getting too drawn out
I gave the clue before that she was a daughter but not THE daughter ... I really thought that would have given it away instantly -
Terry (Richard Morgan) was the third and youngest Sullivan son. A scampish schoolboy at the beginning of the series, as he matured he harboured dreams of joining the Air Force, but inner ear problems prevented this and he joined the army instead. He later married Caroline (Geneviève Picot); however the war took a greater psychological toll on Terry than his brothers; he was interned in Changi Prison and he struggled both with his marriage and his readjustment to civilian life.
[edit: she was the DAUGHTER-in-law ..... a daughter but not THE daughter]
Your turn Paul.
cheers - John

I am a bit tired of the time it takes to get guesses it becomes such a boring game
So here are a few clues that should garner some interest praps ...

Gday...
NAH ... Toni is old enough to be this lady's mother.
Toni Lamond was born in Sydney in 1932, as Patricia Lamond Lawman. She began her professional career at the age of ten when she sang on the radio while touring with her vaudevillian parents in variety shows, which included her actress mother Stella Lamond. Her first stage performances were at the Tivoli Theatre in Sydney. Her first performances as a leading lady were with English comedian Tommy Trinder in The Tommy Trinder Show in 1952.
The first single by the lady in the photo was top of the pop charts for seven weeks.

Obviously, no-one has an idea. Given this lady's 'achievements' in pop, TV, Stage etc I guess I should just let ya all know who it is.
Any additional clues will just give it away anyway.
When she was popular, there were too many other things going on in my life to bother about Pop-stars John.
Why don't you just post another Pic. You must have more.
Cheers,
Sheba.

NAH ... there seems to have been very little interest on this thread lately
It seems to be mainly me, you, Aussie Paul, Dunmowin and very occasionally Big Gorilla.
Someone else can have a go I think. Perhaps a "newbie" can put up a photo - someone who hasn't put up a photo before.
Get some new "blood"
Cheers - John

Don't know where Aussie Paul gets his from, but his Pics are always way too hard for me. Would be better if we had at least some chance of knowing or guessing who we're looking at.
Cheers,
Sheba.

Don't get "down" about it RL, Pick this Place has the same sort of attendance. Sometimes the same people over and over, then you get a bit of new blood. I find weekends always are traditionally quieter for some reason. Go on the the Newbies thread and plug the thread. I have done it before for PTP and it helped.
