I haven't looked in here for awhile.
We've had beautiful weather here in SEQ...around 17 - 28 most days. Easter would have been awesome to go camping at the beach with my brother, but alas, I was stuck at home.
Today has come over cloudy and showers have been predicted for the next few days.

Exmouth WA had 200 mls rain last weekend and were flooded. Their weather forecast is for more heavy rain this weekend too.
We are currently at Denham, Shark Bay, had planned to go to Exmouth next week, looks like we need a plan B.
Denham weather is beautiful 29 degrees today, but rain forecast here too.

Home sweet home. It's decidedly chillier than when I left here on Wednesday morning. The cold westerly wind has arrived and it was very cold when I left Toowoomba this morning.
Glorious Chrystal clear blue skies here in Brisbane....bit nippy....Heading to Noosa today (with our usual stop at the Ginger factory for morning tea)
Cheers

We have just spent the last three days here in the free camp site of Cliff Head North, that's around 35 clicks South of Dongara, which is about half an hour South of Geraldton W.A. Rained the first night, overcast the second day, drizzling today,
"What a flaming disappointment" just heard the main water pipe has burst back home, heading back now, should be home in around 4hrs.
"Ya just can't win", freezing down South, Wet up North, think we will give this travelling a miss until Spring, then go and see the Wild Flower.

On Saturday got blown away from Nobby in SE Qld by a gale from the antarctic, so moved on and spent 3 perfect days at Heifer Creek. Now at Esk where it's T-shirt weather during the day and doona temperature at night. Don't know and don't really care what that is in degrees Celsius, just know it's perfect for me.
Sounds like you've had some bad luck kiwijims, but if it's too wet up north and too cold down south isn't there somewhere in between where it might be just right?
