We have just arrived home from a trip out through Central West NSW. Ten great days, cool evening and two days of drizzle.
We did not complain about that though, the country was as dry as......
Back home in Lake Macquarie, we have a fine sunny day of about 27*.

Reasonably comfortable low 30's here at Baffle Creek Qld, tho the sun still has a lot of bite!
Almost afraid to say it after the floods last summer, but it's too dry. Hoping for 100mm or so over a few days out of the low that's expected to form a cat 1 cyclone, but nervous in case we get too much again!

Nice autumn weather here in Portland. Sat 22deg, Sun 28, Mon 26 all good for the long weekend. A German cruise ship will dock here Sat. the first of many we hope to give the local economy a boost.

Jerramungup south WA. Warm and very very dry! Kangaroos came around the camp looking for handouts and were very happy to be given water.

I woke at 6.00am this morning to the smell of water on hot concrete,
Looked out the door and could hardly believe my eyes,
"There it Was" Rain drops on the path, not many mind you but,
it was so heavy it, almost covered the whole path. L.O.L.
It's since evaporated,
Perth has heavy cloud cover at present, sitting on 23deg at 7.30am.

Today marks 100 days since we had rain in Mandurah - Pinjarra area. That day long ago (100 days) we only got 0.4mm so nothing to write about.

"Yep" a long while since we had any up here in Perth as well,
On the good side, There shouldn't be any water restrictions this year, there won't be any water.

Here in WA's Stirling Ranges NP its been lovely and warm but dry. Tomorrow we are going back to the cool coast at Albany, where its only forecast to be 21 tomorrow.

Portarlington Vic, We came yesterday for 5 days on our second shake down trip. Lovely and mild beside the sea. The drive down just showed us HOW DRY the countryside is here!!!!!!!!!!!

Still dry here at Baffle Creek. The dry grass looks more like September than March. Maybe the weather gods reckon we got our share last year. Planning to travel for the winter and probably just as well because the tank may run dry!

Well whadyaknow, after a good downpour last night I checked my previously very dehydrated rain gauge and it held 9mm of precious water, whoo woo.
To us that is like Qld north coast getting 200mm in a night .
I can hear thunder to the north coming this way so may even get a bit more today.

You could be right about getting some more today ,Delta18.
I've just returned home from a short drive towards the Eastern Hills, down the Albany Hwy,
Noticed some heavy cloud in the South and some really large flashes of Lightning.
Not a drop has fallen here in Sth Perth,
pretty breezy though and still very warm.
