I picked the uniform as Royal military college so a search of that register was in order.
The Register is split into separate academies so I had 2 choices, either Woolwich or Sandhurst, and of course I picked the wrong one and searched Woolwich first.
No standouts there so I went on to Sandhurst which revealed Montgomery and Churchill as two very likely contenders.
Lo and behold, that very picture of Sir Winston came up when I checked him out.
It was taken is 1895. He failed the entrance exam 3 times before they finally felt sorry for him.
Geez - no wonder they almost lost the war.
