Rained all night here, lots of swimming pools in backyards where they didn't have them before. Just watching the news. Couple of towns out of Shepparton now underwater. NSW is in big trouble. Cooma 500 being evacuated, Goulburn under threat. The whole southeast of NSW under flood watch. Not a good day to be travelling anywhere. Going to be like this for a few more days yet.

Cold, windy and raining. Still at least we are not flooded like most of NSW and N & NE Vic looking as though things are not good as well by the look of the news.
Keep safe up there all of you affected.

Cold and windy here, Supposed to get a lot of rain today, Good day for cleaning out the oven. Lots of flooding about half hour away, all the small towns. Seems to affect a different direction each year. Last year it wasd all the low lying farmland and towns to the west of Echuca. This years its the same but to the East of Echuca.

7.10am Sunday 4/3/12.
Here in South West Gippsland the skies have opened up and water everywhere but not flooded, if it keeps up it could result in minor flooding in some areas.
I had to drive a bus yesterday from Wonthaggi to Traralgon and it rained heavy all the way there and back, water everywhere and a nightmare of a drive but all safe, still, it's not as bad as further north. Not good.

Over here in Esperance it is fine and sunny( according to the weatherman it is going to be about 30degrees today) and the sea is like glass.Phil and nephews left before the sun came up and are out there somewhere fishing. Farmers market, car and bike show, car-boot market so lots to do for those of us on land today.

Cold and wet here in Echuca. Although the sun is trying to peak through we are supposed to get more rain today than any other day we've had. At least Echuca is not flooding like a lot of the other small towns not far from here. I feel so sorry for them, its heartbreaking.

Glorious day here at Point Lowley on the East Coast of the Eyre Peninsula, with a nice sea breeze. Plenty of caravans, motor homes etc. Our first time here, seems its a popular free camp. Really enjoying our maiden voyage around Australia, so far so good.
