I have been to Lakes heaps of time Gerty and have never seen it like that. I love Lakes and surrounds. I have stayed at the North Arm Caravan park many times. The bowls club have a great meal if you are looking for a meal out. The sports club not too bad either.

There's been a bad smoke haze here today, which has apparently come from Victorian fires. Whodathinkit! That the smoke would travel that far!
'They're' saying that the rain down south is heading our way too. I hope it dumps on western NSW & SW Qld on it's way.

It's still Hot and Sunny here in Perth, mid 30's every day,
Going by the news, it's now 78 days since we had any rain, the total still sits on 0.02mm for this year !!!
The gardens dead, the flowers have wilted, The lawns a dust bowl, How the flamin Beer fridge has died.

Up here ,near Seabird,it was still 35 degrees here at 8.15 last night and now at 3am it is 25 degrees. Definitely not cold and not even the merest hint of rain. Think we are in for another hot one today.

A beautiful day on the far south coast of NSW. Unfortunately we only got 9mls of rain from all that weather last week. Glad others got more where it was needed.

Here in Perth, we are still chugging along with yet another fine ( mid 30's ) day,
It;s now 89 days since there has been any rain and the Weather forecasters are predicting,
We are fast approaching a record for the hottest and longest dry period on record !!!

The last four days on the far south coast NSW have been overcast and sometimes showery and much cooler. Extra blanket on at night. Hasn't been a hot February.

I'm on the Sunshine Coast, Maroochydore, for a 60th birthday. The weather is lovely for sitting out looking at the river and watching the littlies playing in the sand.
