When I first checked out the picture with Google, it came up with Tom Rettig. But I see your point, and I agree with you from my search just now that the photo you posted is Tom Rettig and the one I posted is Jon Provost. I don't know if I made an error or the site I took the info from was incorrect. It's between you and Aussie Paul. You are most probably the first correct. What do you want to do about it ?
What do you want to do about it Paul ? Can you decide amongst yourselves, or do you want me to make a decision ? !!

Gday...
A bit of further info to muddy the plot
It is a very good example that Mr Google is definitely not infallible
This shows the photos confirming that the photo BG initially posted is indeed Jon Provost. It also shows on Page 2 the different boy - Rettig.
It does show how easily misled we can become relying on our best research friend and resource - Mr Google.
Cheers - John

Thomas Noel Rettig, known as Tommy Rettig (December 10, 1941 February 15, 1996), was an American child actor, computersoftware engineer, and author. Rettig is best remembered for portraying the character "Jeff Miller" in the first three seasons of CBS'sLassie television series, from 1954 to 1957.
Go for it Paul.....
Hi BG, a search of Tom Rettig give me (amongst many other photos), this image of him with Lassie:
Are you saying that is the same boy as the one in your photo?
Check out John Provost' website: http://www.jonprovost.com/

Been out all day, went for a 500k round trip to Ballina and back.
Here is another actor I loved back in the 60s. Either the stage name or the actor's name will suffice. (or both if you are really keen)
