Blowing like a bugger from the north. Hot, overcast and unpleasant. Good old AC. Wouldn't be without it. How did we manage without it? Life must have been uncomfortable way back then. In the tropics didn't have AC on stations, just fans. Too tired to bother.

Do you mean to tell me you went passed my place and didn't call in for a cuppa? Where are you heading to now? Any hail stones in the storm? There was a magnificent brilliant red sunset across the St. Vincent Gulf and from the park looking through the trees toward Outer Harbour it was spectacula. There was a golden glow first and then it lit up like a spot light. Last night's sunset was also brilliant but more gold/orrange. Not much rain here.

We were wondering about that Gert. At least we have an alternative even though it would probably add two or three hours to the trip.
Will check out the road conditions on the morning we set off. Thanks for the tip.

Colder now at 2.15pm than it was this morning. Currently 16 degrees, (makes a change from 40 last week). Raining all day, stuck here until it clears up north - heading to Parachilna

Cold and wet in Adelaide. Who pinched summer? I don't like your chances of getting to Parachilna for a week or more. If Leigh Creek is cut off the rest of the Flinders Ranges will be inaccessible until it dries out now. Stay put until it dries out. Keep track with the locals, but it's best to wait. Flash floods happen very quickly up that way and you can get caught without warning. Have a good trip when you get there.

Very wet around Canberra, with 100 mls of rain expected tonight and tomorrow. Flooding around Queanbeyan, Cooma and Goullburn predicted. Its not expected that the rain will stop till next Monday at least. Planning a trip to this area? Might be better to stay home this week.
