Your close, but no cigar. Its Beagle bay,WA on a sunday. I tried to get a permit to go up the beach to a nice creek camping spot, but they were all in church and wouldn,t talk to me, so I just went up the beach and camped.never saw another person for a week!Caught 6kg golden trevally off the beach, andgot mud crabs in a bucket with a torch at night.Sandflies were bad.Crazy road conditions-180ks of bad dirt, and then really good bitumen. Why? One arm point is nice , but the locals would not let me camp there.

I agree - it was not Bills turn - he didn't get the waterfall, so he is out of order, and it is very confusing - on page 6 it is a total confusion!!!!! I thought it was supposed to be - keep guessing till someone gets it - then that person puts the next piccy on - ok Bill may have got one at some stage, but that is when he should have posted - we have to remember that some people may be travelling and not go on until late in the day or evening -

So if no one guessed the church - it must be Bill's turn again - so put one up there Bill, and let's get the sequence back in order ok? jules

I'm still waiting to find out the tree in Hylda and Jon's rightful photo. havden't seen a correct answer yet. It's only correct if H&J say so. Whoever gets that does the next one.

I agree HW need the original photo poster to confirm the answer is correct before the baton is passed, and a new photo is submitted.
Perhaps we need a time limit on how long a photo remains unidentified? how about a week or so? not everybody can log on everyday if they are travelling. What does everyone think?

A week sounds fine to me.

A week may be a bit too long, most seem to be picked correct in 3 or 4 days. People might get bored with a week.
Doesn't worry me as long as it is run right.

I agree - 2 - 3 days - but I thought that Cleveland was the correct answer - it just got all too confusing with the church and the tree - (if you put your cursor over the photo of the tree it says Cleveland - found out by accident, didn't cheat) jules

Too confusing with two photos running at the same time. Never thought to hold cursor over photo but it hasn't been confirmed as correct by Hylda&Jon, so is it right?
A lot of my photos don't have a correct name under them, might be in a folder named an area or a date and then all numbered so wouldn't be able to work it out from there.
I'm not nitpicking, just want to be able to play the game without all this confusion.

First of all, around 3 days sounds fine to me too , maybe with hints to help out if there is a lack of attempts or if it takes too long.
Bill! NOW it is your turn to post a pic as it is indeed Queensland's oldest Banyon tree which is next door to Qld's oldest licensed pub, the Grandview Hotel in Cleveland just south of Brisbane Qld. Cheers Jon

You don't have to line up Bill, But the winner of the last one gets the next turn to put their photo up. No jumping the gun, them's the rules, ok.
Anyway, is it an information centre for kangaroos perhaps in the Northern Territory.

My goodness me!! There are a lot of "rules" arn't there! Soon we will need permission to log on!!!!!

None of us have been everywhere in Australia but if all us grey nomads combined our photo's the result would probably cover most of it.
This is the spot to try and stump each other as to where a particular scenic photo has been taken.
Please include something in the photos submitted that will be an obvious landmark to people that have been there so we can keep the competition moving.
I will submit the first photo & the person who first names the location correctly has earned the right to post the next photo to tease us all.
Good luck & have fun.
Thommo - Bill - ABOVE the first post ever put up on this thread. They are the only rules and are not being adhered to.
I get the impression someone is sick of me harping on about it so I won't bother coming back into this thread. There are plenty of others that are easier to follow.

Sorry to befuddle you so much Thommo but in the high presure enviroment of caravan forum quizzes we have to follow rules or there will be outright anarchy leading to rebellion... then..........possibly............war.

Don't leave us - its not rules - just sensible guidelines - because of the delays in logging on some people just get impatient - and don't read the guidelines at the start of the thread - I love this concept - and Bill has put some good shots on - he just needs to learn patience - you know - the old "she'll be right mate" chill out and folloow one photo to conclusion and result - pretty simple really. and I don't think you are harping on - just putting it like it is. jules

H&J and jules 47,
I agree with what you say......All I say is to chill out a bit! I mean it maybe a bit confusing if someone posts a beaut photo (all be it perhaps a bit too big, and we may have to scroll sideways) before the previous one is solved. So what? I'm sure with patience, we can work our way through it and have a bit of fun, as I'm sure that when the thread was first put up, was the intention!
Have now got that off my chest-----------------I feel better now!
Happy posting, keep up all the good photos!

Lets get back to the business at hand. We have this photo of Bill's which has yet to be guessed. As he originally said it is a bit hard . Bill already gave the clue 'Its somewhere near a cape in WA.its 41c and the locals are a bit laid back'. We havn't been north of Perth yet & I'm sure it would be north of there so I wouldn't be much help. Come on peoples start thinking. Cheers Jon
