Good onya Marj. I might still let them know how much bad publicity they have had after you've got it home.
Cheers, Sheba.

Sheba, he had the cheek to say as he was walking off, "I will deserve a 6 pack of beer when this is all over" I should have yelled back, And I deserve a big box of chocolates.
Milo, Its no harder but more satisfiying to have someone I trust do the work. Its the same work no matter who does it.

I'd better keep my feelings in check at the moment. Have to think of my own Karma. Hate to have his. Just let us know when you have Myrtle home. [As if you won't.]
Cheers, Sheba.

What an interesting topic I've read through tonight. Boy, you folks are pretty supportive on this Forum!
I, too, will soon be in the market for a vehicle that will meet my needs for 2 or 3 months when I come over to Australia over your winter months.
Look forward to connecting with you all soon.

Myrtle is now mine. All done this morning. All the contracts etc signed sealed and delivered so to speak.
Now, I'm still driving the combo even though they now own it, as they have lent it to me while Myrtle is over at my mechanic. Will try to get some photos next time I go out.
When I drop the combo back I am tempted to say to Steve, "Once in a while a smile wouldn't hurt" Don't take life so seriously.
Can't wait to get her home now to work out where to put everything.
Wombat, hope you have been enjoying your trip. When do you head home?

Have just popped around to my mechanics for a chat and took some photos while there.
In those two you can see the water tank down below between the 2 wheels in the first one, also the power point connection for when in C/Ps. The push out window has mossie screen behind it.
In 2nd photo you can see where the gas bottle goes, the two containers on the back step, windows right down the side.

Looking in through the back window, sorry about the reflection. On the left is the kitchen sink and stove, on the right is the fridge and cupboards. Two front facing seats which have seat belts. The mess on the big seat which is my bed the mess is because the mechanic has had it out to get into the motor.

My purple car seat covers will fit the seats. There is a middle seat which is folded down at the moment (by the mechanic).
There seems to be a cord right around the pop top for when it is up, it has some pegs attached so presume its the closthesline.
The curtain tracks go right around the front of the van above the dash, so completely private.
All the seat back and front are perfect, no a tear or smudge any where.

Marg it looks fantastic I'm so envious, it will be much easier than having to tow something and looks as if it has lots of storage space and a wardrobe too what more could a girl ask for lol. I will look out for you along the way, I'm heading off on the 20th March. Did you find it easy to drive?
Happywanderer said

Thats what surprised me Gilly. It was so easy and it is column change as well. Runs well and smooth. It seems to have everything in there I will need. Just a matter of packing it up with all the necessities for living, a lot of that wil lbe kept in there permanently so I'm not carting back and forth.

So glad you've finally got her Marj.
From the look of the seats, I reckon you can still loop the dog lead around the headrest section.
Cheers, Sheba.
