His Professional first name reminds one of Winter. That should give it to some-one.

That's him Santa. [ No worries Sandy.] Didn't want to drag it on too long.
Who are we looking for now ?
Chill Wills was born on the 18th of July, 1902. He was famous for being aMovie Actor. He played Davy Crockett s sidekick, Beekeeper, in The Alamo, and led a notorious campaign to win the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor. His other films include Gunsmoke, Tugboat Annie Sails Again, McLintock!, and Kentucky Rifle.
Robert James Fischer (March 9, 1943 January 17, 2008) was an American chess grandmaster and the eleventh World Chess Champion. A chess prodigy, at age 14 in 1958, he won the U.S. Championship, the first of eight times. In 1964, he won it with a perfect score (11 wins). Qualifying for the 1972 World Championship, Fischer swept matches with Mark Taimanov and Bent Larsen by 60 scores. After another qualifying match against Tigran Petrosian, Fischer won the title match against Boris Spassky of the USSR, in Reykjavík, Iceland. Publicized as a Cold War confrontation between the US and USSR, the match attracted more worldwide interest than any chess championship before or since.
In 1975, Fischer refused to defend his title when an agreement could not be reached with FIDE, chess's international governing body, over the match conditions. As a result, the Soviet challenger Anatoly Karpov was named World Champion by default. Fischer subsequently disappeared from the public eye, though occasional reports of erratic behavior emerged. In 1992, he reemerged to win an unofficial rematch against Spassky. It was held in Yugoslavia, which was under a United Nationsembargo at the time. His participation led to a conflict with the US government, which warned Fischer that his participation in the match would violate an executive order imposing US sanctions on Yugoslavia. The US government ultimately issued a warrant for his arrest. After that, Fischer lived as an émigré. In 2004, he was arrested in Japan and held for several months for using a passport that the US government had revoked. Eventually, he was granted an Icelandic passport and citizenship by a special act of the Icelandic Althing, allowing him to live there until his death in 2008.
Fischer made numerous lasting contributions to chess. His book My 60 Memorable Games, published in 1969, is regarded as essential reading in chess literature. In the 1990s, he patented a modified chess timing system that added a time increment after each move, now a standard practice in top tournament and match play. He also invented Fischer random chess, also known as Chess960, a chess variant in which the initial position of the pieces is randomized to one of 960 possible positions.
Fischer made numerous antisemitic statements and denied the Holocaust; his antisemitism, professed since at least the 1960s, was a major theme in his public and private remarks. There has been widespread comment and speculation concerning his psychological condition based on his extreme views and eccentric behavior.
William Alexander "Bud" Abbott (October 2, 1897 April 24, 1974) was an American comedian and actor. He was the straight man half of the comedy duo Abbott and Costello.

With a wife who is a ballet tragic, I've enjoyed many performances during our married life.
The portrait is of the one and only Anna Pavlova, no I never got to see her, she died 11 years before I was born.
I suspect many modern dancers would run rings around her, during her time she was a phenomenon.
If only we could turn back the clock.

Sorry for the late reply folks.
You've got her Santa. Who do we look for now ?
Anna Pavlovna Pavlova (English: /pćvlv,pvlov,pćv-/PAV-l-v, pahv-LOH-v, pav-,[2] Russian: [an pavlv]), born Anna Matveyevna Pavlova (Russian: ; 12 February [O.S. 31 January] 1881 23 January 1931), was a Russian prima ballerina of the late 19th and the early 20th centuries. She was a principal artist of the Imperial Russian Ballet and the Ballets Russes of Sergei Diaghilev. Pavlova is most recognized for her creation of the role of The Dying Swan and, with her own company, became the first ballerina to tour around the world, including performances in South America, India and Australia.[3]
She was in quite a few movies around about the '50's or '60's I think, but I can't remember her name dammit.

Fischer was his own worst enemy, the issues in the Iceland series certainly put chess in the world news in the 70's.
