I was thinking Charles Bronson, the actor. But no, a quick check on some photos has their mouths different.
I have seen that bloke's face but cannot get the name.

Absolutely right Dorian. Nice to see you in the game. Who are we looking for now ?
Jack Palance (/pælns/PAL-ns; born Volodymyr Palahniuk (Ukrainian: ); February 18, 1919 November 10, 2006) was an American actor.[1] Known for playing tough guys and villains, he was nominated for three Academy Awards, all for Best Actor in a Supporting Role, receiving nominations for his roles in Sudden Fear (1952) and Shane (1953) and winning almost 40 years later for his role in City Slickers (1991).
I think he's an Actor. If he is, I've only seen him in one Series, and I can't remember his name.

Yes, he is an actor. His character had a serious case of OCD (and no moustache).

I will try him to be Omar Sharif, the Egyptian actor.

Not Omar. He most famously portrayed a detective in a long running TV comedy series. His character was always in the company of a female assistant who would help him deal with his many phobias and obsessions.
If I were any good with PhotoShop, I would frame his photo and hang it up slightly askew.
Is there a rule that if nobody comes up with the right answer, I go again? If so, how long do I wait?

OK it's clue time our man is not only a well known actor but is also a narrator my wife recently recorded a series of documentaries from SBS1 that he narrated. That photo of him is as a young man he is 84 now and has a beard and mustache he has a skin condition called Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra a skin condition that creates dark raised areas, most often in people with darker skin tones. This makes him look as though he has a few freckles on his face.

You've got him Sheba, over to you for a pic.
Morgan Freeman[2] (born June 1, 1937) is an American actor, director, and narrator. Noted for his distinctive deep voice, Freeman is known for his various roles in a wide variety of film genres. Throughout his career spanning over five decades, he has received multiple accolades, including an Academy Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award, and a Golden Globe Award.
Born in Memphis, Tennessee, Freeman was raised in Mississippi where he began acting in school plays. He studied theatre arts in Los Angeles and appeared in stage productions in his early career. He rose to fame in the 1970s for his role in the children's television series The Electric Company. Freeman then appeared in the Shakespearean plays Coriolanus and Julius Caesar, the former of which earned him an Obie Award. His breakout role was in Street Smart (1987), playing a hustler, which earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor. He achieved further stardom in Glory, the biographical drama Lean on Me, and comedy-drama Driving Miss Daisy (all 1989), the latter of which garnered him his first Academy Award nomination for Best Actor.
Thanks Sandy. That last clue was the clincher. Here's an easy one.

That's him BG. Who's next ?
William Claude Rains was a British actor whose career spanned almost seven decades. After his American film debut as Dr. Jack Griffin in The Invisible Man, he appeared in such highly regarded films as The Adventures of Robin Hood, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, The Wolf Man, Casablanca and Kings Row, Notorious, Lawrence of Arabia, and The Greatest Story Ever Told.
Sure is BG, but I have to stay with friends tomorrow night, after a hospital procedure tomorrow, so I won't name him.

Big Gorilla,
Manly West has changed over the last few decades. Much of the open ground is now housing estates. You may remember the old Hargreaves/Edgells food factory. It has been gone a while with land now an well-off estate with houses to match. Look on Google Maps and Street View to check the area out.
Anyway, for a post here. This Australian man has been doing well in his field in USA. I have posted a very early photo of him as youngster, following a recent childhood pic of Audrey Hepburn. Probably will need to post a more recent photo as a clue later.
This aussie is currently in the USA and likes to stir things a bit.
