It looks like a beautiful place for the beautiful people. I see some familiar faces and I'm sorry I'm not there, be we can't all be everywhere. Hi folks? The new rig looks good Ken. Very flash. And Bill, your set up looks like a cross between a 5th wheeler and camper. Should work a treat. Many kms of safe and happy travel.

And it just keeps getting better. Beautiful days, cold nights but sitting around the fire makes up for that. Glassies and Mr Glassies arrive tomorrowfor couple of nights. Ken, there were so many of us we had to put the glasses down for the photos. This week has gone all too fast, nearly over for me, leave on Saturday. It is a beaut spot, the kangaroos were out this morning not far from my van, usually only see them in the afternoon under the trees a distance away.

It's like a free camp, because of the spaciousness and 'camp where you like'.
It's also a good base camp if one wanted to explore the area. eg: Pomona, Kin Kin, Boreen Point, Kadanga, Imbil and Gympie itself.

Marj has left this morning for home. It's been great spending time with you Marj. We'll be seeing you again down the track.
Forgot to mention that we also met Rover...Rod, who was with us for a few days too. Nice to meet you Rod...don't be shy, speak up, we're all friends now.
Not the most glamorous photo of me, but at least I wasn't drinking alone. That's Michael, nu-one, drinking straight from the bladder. Next to him is Brandt, Kiwi-as. Jonathan wasn't far behind, and I don't think Rod, Rowdy Rabbit, was drinking.
I was copping a roasting on Thursday night, but last night was Michaels turn. The music, laughter and silliness went on until midnight.
The next photo, left to right is Leonie, Mrs Justcruisin', Norma, Shadyand me, Lorraine, Mrs Kiwi-as, Jonathan. Then the next photo is Mr & Mrs Glassies, Graham & Della, Michael, and Jim, Justcruisin'.

Glad you didn't get so relaxed that you forgot to remember us (? Does that make sense?) The pictures suggest that you may have had a toast for each absent GN instead of one for all of us.
Keep on enjoying yourselves and don't do too much to stress yourselves!!

Well, whats left to be said, a great week with a great bunch of people.
Yes, we made it to midnight a couple of nights, all taking the micky out of each other & some more than others but we wont go there LOL.
All we can say is if you wern't here then you missed out on a lot of fun. Meet some more new people , faces to names etc. This is a very good camp ground & worth marking in the book.
We move on further north on monday, have to decide whether its up the coast or the inland & vice versa on the return.
Hope to see a few more GN's along the way.
PS.
Beth, Micheal, your secrets are safe, for the moment. hahahaha
Till we meet again,
Cheers; Thanks.

Yep .. so good eh ! .. not sure how it could have been better ! The GN turnout was excellent and there was that common thread of mutual respect that enabled it all to happen. Its disappointing for those friends of ours that were unable to attend, but we feel now that we have established (2) great locations as regular annual venues for GN gatherings on the East Coast ..
This morning I depart for the tablelands of FNQ .. My thanks and appreciation to all who were involved with this gathering .. the presence of Della and Graham just topped it all ..
'til next time then !

ide like to say a big thank you to everybody for truly making us feel so very comfortable and at ease i dont think ive seen graeme relax that much in a long time, in fact he usualy has a lot of bourbons to relax that much and he didnt even need to do so.
we truly had an amazing time, and i will be forever grateful to all of you for your friendship graeme always said if anything ever happened to me he would not do this alone but since he has seen people that are doing it alone, he has decided that he could and would do it alone, however that is not going to happen as we are going to get this all organised one day and get out on the road for good.
i must say a special think you to micheal nu-one ,for his inspiration to both of us ,and the small but enormous gift of a beautiful tibetan piece that i shall and have hung in my home ,it was so me as well and my favourite colour which was another amazing thing.
i also wish to thank micheal for speaking to my husband the love of my life about how he should do this alone if he had to as that is what made him realise and also seeing others do this ,even women on there own ,so a huge thank you secondly i would like to thank jim and leonie a special thanks for staying behind at the sunshine coast just to catch up with us for some quality time alone so we could enjoy one anothers company ,leonie has a very warm heart and i feel a great sense of friendship has come about for us meeting one another and a great deal of care for people who realy didnt know each other all that much, but have come to grow to share tips and ideas and hugs ,jim what can i say you are a truly remarkable man and i love it how you and graeme get along so well especialy how you both share the same ideas and like to make things up yourself instead of buying them etc, thank you for taking us on board as your friends, as we said if you guys are going to be out west to come home and only two or three hours drive from us give us a tingle ahead of time and we shall set it up to be able to come out and meet up with our van and make it a leave on thursday and stay till the monday .
also to the whole crew we met out there, what a wonderful bunch of people made graeme and i very teary,so much help offered if ever needed, and as we say some of your units would not fit on our property due to the trucks being up the back but for others who's will stay in touch and stop in , there is a cobb and co camp ground just down the road from our home in glasshouse mountains 10 dollars each a night nice little spot has a big open fire in a fifty cent piece shape enclosure so great area to get together and stay warm
take care everybody ,three more days and im back to normal no more radiation for this little girl xxxxxxxxxxxx
