Raining at Ariah Park. It came over dark clouds, started raining. Now the sun is back out but is still raining. Still very warm. Have paid up to stay here till Saturday.

The wind gusts are getting up here in Ariah Park. Its all heading down this way now. Lots of flooding but thankfully not in this region, yet and hopefully it doesn't happen.
A few more vans are coming in to seek shelter, so looks like the best is to stay put for this week anyway.

Woke to a beautiful sunny day today. I also went 'rubber necking'. I know they said to stay away, but I figured by today it'd be okay, because there wasn't the urgency. I didn't get in anyones way at all. I really wanted to see our local rivers, the Logan and Albert, in the areas that I knew would be vast lakes. As I've lived in this area most of my life, it's always interesting to see how things have changed over the years, with the urban sprawl.

Sunny and warm here in Ariah Park. I found a website last night which gave a record of all road closures in Qld. The two options I have of getting through were both closed. Moonie and Cecil Plains. Hopefully by the time I get there all will be ok.

Hot sunny and blue skies here at Ariah Park. So hot today, had to spend some time just standing under a cool shower. Heading off tomorrow, have checked out I can get to the border quite safely. Will check out the rest when I get there.

We've had a lovely couple of days here, with 19 - 28 for today. It's windy...a southerly at 35km/h...but it's a nice cool breeze for this time of year.

Started out cool on NSW south coast and warmed up as clouds disappeared. Rain has made the grass grow and lawn mowing is again on the agenda. 26C

Back in Biggy, not sure of the temp, I think they said Bundy was going to be about 30. Fairly high humidity as I am dripping wet as I try to unpack the van.

South coast NSW... been hot and muggy for a few days, now storms are gathering, thunder grumbling in the distance, a few little showers... will be pleased when it really rains!

Cool - probably 19 - 20 degrees, in Hobart, Tasmania - cloudy, light breeze - smoky in the mountains from fires in the region - lots happening this weekend - Regatta, Wooden Boat Festival, Hobart Cup today - probably better than too hot.

Pouring down with rain today in Biggy. Just hope it doesn't cause any more house problems before we get the gutters checked and find the cause of the leaks in the earlier floods.
