Here at Greens Lake the weather gods have decided we can have a cool south east wind today by the look of things so far but the temperature god has said 28-30ish.

44 degrees predicted for today . Bloody hot , but the water's only 12 meters away .

Nowra was only 28 today even though they forecast 31. Hopefully they get it wrong again tomorrow! No water here to take a dip In.

Got to 45 degrees here at Hopetoun yesterday . Still 27 in the van now . ( 5.35 am. ) .
Got to 46 just up the road at Ouyen . A Victorian record high . Spent most of the day in the lake .
33 predicted for today . Much nicer .

Few! The weather gods have turned up the heat control here at Greens Lake and looks like they forgot to turn it down over night as it is hot already at 8.00am Friday.

I am in Murrabit and boy was she hot yesterday,my readings was up near the 50's, lucky I am on power,air con is working overtime.

The big wet hasn't started here in the Top End yet. Builds up each day but splutters out. Around 35-38 in Adelaide River and humidity whew!!!! Looking forward to going back to Portland in Jan.

The top temp today was 29. A much more civilised temp for this nomad after a week or so of mid to high 30's.

We found that out later Rosy. We'd seen the same thing around Apollo Bay. Quite eerie.

Newcastle has gone back to winter ,light showers most of the day and strong southerly winds ,not what you would expect for this time of year.Hopefully we can get back to summer within a couple of days ,even though we need the rain .
