Yes thats it. This is Birdsvilles water supply... it comes out of the ground very hot and they allow it to flow along a channel to cool before its pumped up into a water tower.
Good one Gubby! We camped there in the rain for 3 days waiting to see the falls, it cleared for half an hour, and this is the best photo we could get. Would have been amazing to see it thundering after cyclone Yasi!
Your go!
No it wouldn't. The vegetation would have been stripped. While the waterfall would have been roaring, the rainforest would have been very sad with felled trees and palms, and what would have been left standing would have been naked.

You got it John. Your turn.
We stopped there for morning tea too. That actual plane was one that Blue had worked on in his other life.

There's heaps of salt exporters in the Pilbara, I'd say Port Hedland.

Beat me to it. It looks very much like some pics I just took yesterday. We just left Port Hedland today & now at Cape Keraudren about 160k north of there.

It certainly looks like Pt. Hedland, however if it's not, would it be Onslo?

Port Hedland certainly wasn't a place to spend too much time at! Although we did spend at least an hour watching the big ships being tugged into and out of port, and the port bus tour was reasonably interesting.

G'day Gerty, Birdsville and beyond simply great!

So where's this ruin?
Reckon it's could be Eucla - the old ruins of the telegraph station right on the coast.
Gee, that was easier than I thought it might have been. Go on Thommo, stump us.
Ok, try this! A lot of you have been there!
Unfortunately it's a bit big, sorry!
Will check answers in the morning.
