We arrived in Glen Innes yesterday through snow showers. We missed the good falls that covered everything but they were making snowmen just down the highway. Today....beautiful sunshine, no cold wind - a glorious day. What a crazy October!

So glad you didn't have too much damage Gerty. Hope your move goes well. It usually isn't as cold as Canberra on the coast. Just strange weather.

We're now at Greens Lake, not as cold as it has been the past few days. At least we can sit outside and look at the lake as the sun goes down.

Beautiful morning in Porepunkah Victoria - blue sky, no breeze, a chill in the air, so jeans and shoes and sox are the order of the day, but that is ok, though the tan is fading already.

Beautiful up here, still in short sleeves and 3/4 pants and sleeping with no doona on at night. No idea of the temps as they don't recognise this little place on the weather sites. Comes under Gayndah so the closest I can get is Min 12 Max 29
Edit: I stand corrected. Min 11-14 Max 29 - 32. From today for the next 3 days. Haha!!

Happy Wanderer we stayed on the river at Texas ,town has a dump point and good water also has free hot showers opposite the postoffice. The people were very friendly.

Because I have come from the Town of wind and rain (Wonthaggi, Vic) it was quite warm here in Batemans Bay 27 with 33 tomorrow but I'm not complaining one bit, no way.

Spent last night at Beachport where the wind came up during the night, and again, I thought my little Lulu was going to take off. But no, she still held together. Freezing cold wind all morning around Beachport, straight from Antarctica I reckon!
