Warming up in Alice Springs. 35 deg. today, 38 deg, tomorrow.
They are heading for a record stretch with no rain.
Not looking good for bushfire season.
Think its time to start heading South. (soon)

Apparently we had a thunderstorm here in the northern suburbs of Brisbane, didn't hear a thing!!!! Fair bit of rain with it, but sunny morning now iwth just a few clouds.

A very warm 32 at Ippy(Ipswich) today, visiting my young-uns. The clouds built up as if it was going to storm then the wind changed direction, it got cooler, and the clouds blew away.

Kalbar SE Qld, in the beautiful Scenic Rim - blue sky, half moon is out up there, no wind - quiet after spending three weeks on a busy suburban street in Brisbane!!!

We had the storm come through here twice. Quite frightening, Even the dog begged to come inside. First at 3.30pm then again about 7pm. Seems to have calmed down now.

Here in Wonthaggi Sth West Gippsland Vic, it has been a little chilly, no wind, no rain and some sunshine this arvo but looking at the weather gods map it looks like some windy and wet weather heading this way from the south west, still, no complaints about today.

Beautiful here at Tortilla Flats near Adelaide River NT around 38-40 deg every day and not a cloud in sight but wait there's a 60% chance of rain on Sunday and 90% chance on Monday. If so this will be the 1st rain that we have seen in 4 mths to the day since we left Vic. BLOODY RAIN!!!!!

Clouds have been grey to black here all day, but no rain. Turned cold mid afternoon, was good to be able to get out in the garden for a bit of snipping before the bin went out tonight.
