Send just a bit up here Doug. Have had no rain for so long our water tank has run dry. Have now switched to the town water whcih is so horrible I have to buy the 10 litre bottles of water from the supermarket.

Try one of these attached to the hose Marj, it might work out cheaper for you, they are about $30 and you can get them at Super Cheap Auto, BCF and caravn acc places.
I need something more for the kitchen tap for the drinking water Doug. Will look for something in Bundy tomorrow. Like a filter jug.

Just popped my head out the back to see what the noise was, tree came down onto car, the road is about 200 mts away on the other side of a small farm. That wind I mentioned is getting bad now and still heaps of rain.

Not mine Beth.
It's 7.30am Sat morning 8th and the sun has come out here in down town Wonthaggi Vic, wind seems to be just wind now and a few white clouds in the sky, I hope things are on the improve, this is not what the weather person said at all. NOT complaining though after the last few days.

Well, the weather gods gave us a couple of nice sunny days but now they have hit us with srong winds and rain again here in Sth West Gippsland, Vic. Cos we really need the rain, ground is water logged and the Desal Plant is producing water that is not needed.

All good here at Adelaide River NT if you like the temp around 38 deg every day and no sign of rain. Since leaving Vic have not seen rain for 14 wks. no wonder I'm getting the jitters

A respectable 10 - 23 today. SE-E 13-16kph wind.
80% chance of a thunderstorm tomorrow and Tuesday. Not wishing for a thunderstorm as such, but some good solid rain would be welcome.
KISS, my son has been working in Darwin on and off for a couple of months. He's wanting to see the build up to the wet.
