Just arrived back to miserable freezing weather in Moonta SA after a month of delightful weather on the road in and around the NT. Even had to stoke the combustion heater up.

Well, I couldn't have asked for a better day for the first day of Spring. Sunshine, not hot and not cold, just right. Mmm that sounds familiar.
I hope it's a bit of what is in front of us, bring on some nice weather for a change Pleeeeease.
Edit...Ooops sorry, Sth West Gippsland Vic.

The weather gods were good to us today. I asked them to keep up the good work until Beth54 has passed through the area in October.

How on earth am I going to cope with Victoria if it's cold? Maybe I should get some thermals. If it's possible to buy them in Qld.

Shouldn't be as bad by October, perhaps a bit windy also going into November but gets a lot warmer. Thats why I am not going down till November when it gets too hot for me up here.

Absolutely glorious weather here on the far south coast of NSW today - and hoping it stays like it as we head further south with the van for a few days.

This is our weather, we are getting blown away at the moment.....
WEATHER SITUATION MONDAY A cold front is currently located from Perth to Walpole and is expected to be near Geraldton to Narrogin to Albany by about 5 pm. The front will move east and be near Kalbarri to Dalwallinu to Bremer Bay by 8 pm and then be near Denham to Merredin to Hopetoun by 11 pm. Within about 100 kilometres of the frontal band expect widespread showers, isolated thunderstorms and squally conditions. Squalls may produce DAMAGING WINDS to 100 kilometres per hour that could result in DAMAGE TO HOMES AND PROPERTY. In localised areas DANGEROUS GUSTS in excess of 125 kilometres per hour could cause SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE OR DESTRUCTION TO HOMES OR PROPERTY. The front is expected to weaken as it moves inland overnight.

In general, for the fine warm weather in WA is best to head north to Carnarvon and above in April/May, and south of Carnarvon in late September. Our south/west has very heavy and squally rains in winter and is best avoided, akin to being in the southern parts in other states of Australia in the winter months.....

After freezing last week at Jondaryan, today heading home it was 28 at one stage! And I didn't take any warm weather clothes. I didn't expect it to warm up that quick.
It was very dusty and smokey all through our travels to Injune and back. I've been sneezing and coughing for days. Allergy overload!
