Yeh, I just saw that on the latest weather. What they heck were they talking about yesterday when they said brisbane was in for a rough weekend. Will be so cold you will think its snowing. Thank goodness they were wrong.

The nights are going lower apparently, but that won't bother me. I'll be snuggled in my bed til it warms up.

If I came up that way Marj I would stress too much about Cyclones. I don't even like strong winds. Not even sure why I live here come to think of it. Wonthaggi is the place of wind and rain and boy does it live up to it's name.

Hey Doug, not all of Qld is cyclone prone. But it does get humid, and many southerners can't tolerate the humidity.
I went for a drive to Wivenhoe Dam today to meet Ken & Lyn Thomas. It was a beautiful day!

Oh, Doug - more wind where you are than most of Qld - We are at the highest town in Qld at the moment, and have a stiff breeze blowing, taking the temperature down a notch or two - about 23 - 24 in the day, but quite cold at night. Come north - you will love it!!!
My brothers used to call Wonthaggi the "sad town", seems it was always grey and miserable when parents took them there.

Yesterday was a beautiful sunny day on the Fleurieu Peninsula and today promises to be just as good. Stilla bit cool for us FNQlders but lovely if we can stay rugged up from the wind.
Yesterday's sunset followed by an almost full moon last night.

Another beautiful day here too. The nights are getting quite cold though. 6 expected tonight. And my heater died! I only bought it around this time last year, and having trouble finding the receipt to return it.

The nights are getting colder here too, not sure what the minimum is. Haven't had to use a heater yet although son upstairs has his on at night. His part of the house is colder than mine in winter and hotter in summer. So I have the best of both worlds.
