Isn't it great to see water in Burrumbeet, has been dry for years, but heaps of water when we were down in March - just amazing!!!!

After a foggy start to the day, Canberra was fine and warm today. 10 - 15 degrees. The chill factor has come in a little this evening though.

It was sunny and very warm here today, up until mid afternoon and the clouds came over again.
They've predicted showers for another week.
I read in The Courier Mail today that Qld is almost up to breaking the 1974 record, when Brisbane went under.

Jules47 will be heading north very shortly once we get some dry ground to get the van out, we are at a fellow travellers place and we don't want to rip his back yard.
AND it poured down all last nite and is now raining again.

Same here Barrie. You may be stuck there for a while. My two guests left yesterday in the hope of finding some dry weather. One had been here a week. Were a bit worried about getting back on the the sealed road but no problems. Doubt if they will find a dry spot anywhere. Think they may be still be in Bundy trying to find somewhere to park. Sick of this weather. Its not normal for Qld My son said. Can only hope it clears soon. Daughter and family are on way up for their sunny Qld holiday.

Hi Happywanderer,
We are just putting along and calling in and checking out the areas and then travelling a bit more. Darryl says that we are taking too many little trips and that we won't fit everything in. But what is the rush ??? We'll just do the other bits on the next trip.....
