When the trailer is connected "things" happen to the suspension.
Stop worrying about the car - it is only used as a tug and has been doing so without
event for easily 200,000k. (380,000 overall).

Ps. I am a little envious of your 2000kg rear axle gross compared to our 1720kgs.
Hi Ralph. Would you be able to advise where you found the rating of 2000kg rear axle? My figures show that axle rating is nowhere near that. Cheers
I have not found the spec's for the earlier model V10, there is some infor on motoring reviews about how good the earlier versions were and then the manufacturer made it more friendly for European sales eg. No diff locks.
But I still have not sighted written rear axle spec but the owner is very confident with his weights and who are we to argue about it when it has very little to do with his original question.

It stops you smashing your tail lights on the stone guard on the A Frame.

When you say "earler model V10 what years are you referring to? Somewhere in my records I have all that stuff and ratings are lower than Brodie has posted, but I didn't want to rock the boat, being primarily concerned about advising Brodie of possible problems. All good and well to tow for 200,000 km, but in the event of an accident there coukd be insurance issues.mJust saying. Cheers
