Mike I do know she has been in administration since 1992. So does that qualify her?
Point is, is she making the decisions? Or has she got a team of expert to consult? Or is there a political agenda mixed up in it somewhere?
All us chooks only feed off what we see and hear in the media.

To get back to the OP, who asked why no one questioned, why South Australians did not catch Covid-19
If my memory serves me correctly
There was no question to ask
The man caught Covid-19, during the end of his hotel quarantine period, he then went to Victoria on the same day, as his release from quarantine
It was a few days later, (while in Victoria) when he started to spread the virus to others
So he caught it in SA. ?or did he bring it in from India ? maybe a 14 day quarantine is not long enough
The health experts seem to think that he caught it in hotel quarantine, in South Australia
The health experts seem to think that 14 day quarantine is long enough
I follow the health experts, and not any conspiracy theories
I am led to believe that Northern Territory is still 14 day quarantine, but having another test on day 17
Could be wrong as I am only going from memory

Maybe 14 days hotel quarantine should be followed by 7 days home quarantine as an extra precaution where possible.

Social media is making people more stupid. My wife said that some idiot saw on a tic toc video that pouring water into a car's fuel tank allows one to drive on further. A copper saw her and said that it'll bugger the car's engine. She'd put about two litres into her tank.
Idiots who listen to social media deserve to have bad things happen to them.

The problem is that hotel quarantine is no good.
The HVAC systems are no good as they operate across more than one room in many hotels
Viruses are easily spread to unsuspecting people elsewhere in the building.
The Federal government should have been establishing proper quarantine facilities outside the major capital cities long before now.
Hotels are a band aid at best.

Friends of ours daughter, 35yrs old, told her parents she(and partner) were not having the vaccination because someone had told her that it gives you Motorneurone Disease in 5 yrs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!And she is a fairly inteligent person, well I thought so up until hearing that!!
Go figure where THAT came from, social media or more probably some nutter
This article talks about emerging diseases. Why are there emerging diseases? Are they being created? Have they always been around but people just got sick and died with no name to the disease?
Is it because of larger populations? Contaminants from man made chemicals weakening the immune system? maybe all of the above?

No one here has yet mentioned the benefits of GOOD rumours to spread to anti vaxxers and conspiracy theorists. Just hop on social media and start saying things like " one covid jab has been proven to raise your IQ from zero " get two!

Yesterday I met a 79 year old lady who seemed sensible and in good health. We chatted about Covid and she told me she was not going to have the jab because 4% of the people who did suffered from blood clots.
I said "No way! That's 1 in 25 people and would be a disaster." She said "No it isn't that many". I said "100 dived by four is 25". She wasn't sure.
Sometimes it seems an uphill battle against misinformation and people's refusal to look at the situation in a logical and analytical manner.

It's too bad that there isn't a virus that targets stupidity. We wouldn't bother to develop a vaccine because stupid people wouldn't take it, and intelligent people wouldn't need it.
