Thats true. Had not thought of that. Positives.
15% less age pensioners would reduce the pressure on aged care and social services.
15% less grey nomads would reduce caravan park occupancy rates.

SHANGHAI (AFP) - China on Sunday (March 8) reported its lowest number of new coronavirus infections since January, with nearly all the 44 new cases in the outbreak epicentre Wuhan.
There were 27 new deaths from the virus, all in Wuhan and the lowest in more than a month, bringing the nationwide toll to 3,097, according to the National Health Commission.
Only three cases, all imported from abroad, were reported outside of Hubei province, of which Wuhan is the capital, in Beijing and the north-west province of Gansu.
New infections reported from Hubei have been on a downward trend for several weeks and multiple cities in the province have reported zero new cases in recent days.

Whilst back at home: the doctor who contracted it in Melbourne, let's give him celbrity status, who is the father of Missy Higgins, could not be screened until he was because his symptoms did not match this virus. So the question is how many people already have and do not meet the criteria of this virus, and is there any escape? I suspect it is going to spread widely amongst us and some will contract it, and get better some will pass. The %'s of the population which is dying are in truth small and we do all have to pass sometime from something.
For me the question is why, when the %'s are so small are Govt's and the media making such a huge deal about it? Could it be possibly be to take the eyes off the really game and that is how poorly the world ecconomy is performing and what is really happening.

As I "think" that the wife and I, are in reasonable good health, I would probably head inland, to stay away from the crowds
But, if I thought that the health of one of us, was not too good, I would probably head towards an area, which had a largish hospital
Fortunately for me, all things being equal, I shall be at home base, before it escalates here in Australia

It is certainly starting to spread now
In the link below for a COVID-19 update
The British junior health minister has tested positive I ask myself, if someone who should know how to avoid it, has caught it, then can we actually avoid it
In my opinion, (I am an el-cheapo F1 racing fan), who has never actually been to a race track I think that they should cancel the Formula One motor car race, in Melbourne this weekend As there will be fans from many different countries, at the racetrack
Australia's chief medical officer has told premiers, chief ministers and the Prime Minister that mass gatherings of more than 500 people should be cancelled amid fears about the spread of coronavirus.
The leaders are currently considering that advice at a meeting in Sydney.

The death rates for South Korea and Italy are 0.8% and 6%, respectively. If I understand correctly, South Korea is testing everyone, but Italy is testing only those with symptoms. So what is the real death rate? BTW, there are no lockdowns in Korea.
The infection rate in China appears to have stabilised at 1 in 17,000. NSW and Queensland authorities expect that we will see rates of 1 in 5 and 1 in 4, respectively. What are we doing wrong?
God help us! The Korean outbreak was started by religious zealots, and the Iranian outbreak exacerbated by Mullah Fullah-Bullah, now we have idiots of our own.
Greek Orthodox churches across the country will allow congregations of hundreds of people to sip wine from the same spoon during mass because "the holy cup cannot carry disease," the Archdiocese said.
Greek Orthodox priests dip a spoon into a chalice of wine and place it into the mouths of parishioners, as part of communion during mass. The spoon and chalice remain the same throughout the ceremony.

I'm just blown away that the authorities think that footy is more important than community health.
On a more positive note, this article is reassuring (although it doesn't explain the 7% fatality rate in Italy):
The recent quarantine aboard the Diamond Princess cruise ship [which can house up to 3,770 passengers and crew members] in Japan might provide a greater insight into the age-specific nature of COVID-19's mortality rate, according to Faust.
Of the 705 passengers who tested positive for the virus on the Diamond Princess, six died -- which is a death rate of less than 1%. All of the patients who died onboard were more than 70 years old.
"In China, about 12% of cases were in the elderly," said Faust. "On the Diamond Princess, four times that many older people had the disease. So again, if you're trying to figure out what this means for the entire population, it might even mean that the overall fatality rate would be lower."
