Not knocking you at all and we all camp differently, but for weight reasons we survive quite well with a Dometic 30L drawer fridge. Its rare we dont pass through a town once a week to restock. Not all meals need refridgeration, like tuna patties, dried vegies etc

We are in town often enough and our 28 litre Waeco fridge is big enough. It's as big as we can have in the car anyway, and it has to be moved every night so weight is an issue for me constantly moving it.

I am a non-drinker, but friends once told me that they remove the bladder filled with wine from the cardboard container to save space.
Not much weight reduction.

Our fridge is an upright. Often it is packed, often it is half full, so my win cask serves a dual purpose.
1) to container the bladder
2) to use as packing in the fridge to stop things moving around.....
I have been known only to have the empty box in the fridge.....
Tony, re: "only a 90 litre size fridge"
