Maybe you could do what I do as a female solo with caravan - learn to back unaided LOL. Sometimes takes a bit of 'adjusting' to get it right . What I do appreciate though is someone to help me hook up. I get it straight but the last few inches is always tricky.
I just about have it down pat now Spida. I actually have a camera mounted on the back of the tug that I have aimed down onto the towball hitch. I can see exactly where I need to put it to lower it on and hook up with no assistance.

my wife does the caravan backing in and she cracks it at me when she can't hear me or she gets it wrong...
But she is much better than I am at it so I forgive her and love her to death.

Pat & I have got it down to a "T" - well most of the time! She points as the way I need to go & I go.
But having your mirrors set correctly helps heaps. I don't touch the wide mirrors but I crank the car mirrors down & in generally & it works.
I'm told when I've "gone" she is going to sell the caravan, 4wd & get herself a shopping basket on wheels! Look out for a little old lady driving somewhere around Canberra, Warrnambool!
