Does valuable and informative info need to be qualified because it is produced by an expert in their field who happens to retail related gear?
I'd rather know it than have it denied to me because someone felt aggrieved at the commercialisation.
"valuable and informative info" is seldom a problem Gary, it's the vast amounts of misinformation we need to sift through to get to the facts.

Hi Gary and Barb yes you are entitled to all the information which is why you need to take this type of story with a grain of salt becuse of the one eyes biased commercial lean they have on them .

I would have thought that informative, accurate and correct advice would be welcome and useful regardless of the source.

Really getting tired of the beatup the dual cab on this and other forums( mostly by the landcruiser brigade) maybe toyota have added a blackhole option extra that makes the weight vanish, contrary to popular belief most dual cab owner are able to add up.
I have to agree with you outlaw40 . The fact is that if you fit all those options/ accessories to any tow vehicle you are going to affect the stability of that vehicle and when you hook up a van with a 250 kg or more tow ball download you will most likely be in excess of your GVM and illegal. The only way to be sure you are legal is to visit the local weighbridge loaded as you would be when you set off on a trip. The result will surprise many and there will be some who just don`t want to know.
