Basically its a case of give us yer money and piss off.
Just had a look at the QLD CWA site, no mention of male membership, it does say this:
MEMBERSHIP
The Queensland Country Womens Association is the states most widespread and largest womens group, with thousands of members and hundreds of branches, from the city to remote communities.
We are an active community of women who, together, improve the lives of people living in regional, rural and remote Queensland. We are mums, grandmothers, single or married; we are women employed in the home or in the workforce; we are just like you. We are renowned for our great home cooks and our great handcraftsbut the QCWA is so much more than that. Its about friendship; about community; its about connection. It doesnt matter where you live; theres a way for you to join in the fun, join in the activities and feel connected to other women.

Gday...
I have to assume that the membership of this forum and not representative of the general public. Hopefully, that is true otherwise I fear for future generations.
However, if the comments by some on this thread can be taken as their actual, honest opinion and as an observation, quite probably misplaced, it seems that there is considerable animosity toward the female of the species.
Why does there need to be a 'contest' between male and female? Why can't the male do 'male' things and female do 'female' things ... and horror of horrors - even do some things together, with respect and acceptance that not everyone has the complete 'toolkit' of perfection.
One would hope that as father's we all completely respect the females in our lives, accept and foster their strengths, nurture them (and our sons/brothers) so they have every opportunity to be the successes we all want for ourselves and our families.
Surely, none of us REALLY want to see the female (or any gender) suppressed, downtrodden and denied every opportunity to achieve a successful, happy, fulfilling life. [edit: that they CHOOSE to pursue rather than what is dictated is their "place in life'.]
Jest sayin'
Cheers - John

Been sitting back and reading. The original post was meant to be humorous, pure and simple. I adore the opposite sex my darling Child-Bride, daughters and granddaughters and would go to the ends of the Earth to ensure their liberty of mind, spirit and opportunities
As John said above it seems that there are some people that opine on here that are pure misogynist alternatively feminazi, with no middle road.
Take a chill pill. You're all only allotted a certain time on this Globe make the most of it and play nicely.

Nice try to shove others under the bus of political correctness. However it appears that you have a lot of explaining to do and so does that other poster who applauded you for it. See here,
It is simple. There is no need for 'chill pills' or for taking offence.
The obvious solution is for all to think of the men in their lives when taking a tinkle on 19 November (and more often if one chooses). That covers men, toilets, plumbers and so on. All happy now and can we put a lid on it? Hey, that's a joke and not intended to limit discussion of this important matter.

My friend warns me not to eat too many as it will increase my circumference ...
Did you spot this? Pi Day 2018 3.14.2018 is also the day the great physicist Stephen Hawking died at age 76.
On 31/4 I'll eat another pi in his honour.
What about a picture of Dorian doing same?
Meanwhile, at least one woman feted as a super-achiever, Ms Elizabeth Holmes, Founder, President and CEO of Theranos, proves that women are more than equal to men in the boardroom, at least where shonky dealing and self-interest are concerned. Feminine twist: offers shareholders more shares in the same company if they forget to sue! Record for complete gall to top things off.

Sorry, that would not be possible -- 31/4 is a transcendental date.

For all you caring, sharing men who feel and empathise with the pain of women in their eternal struggle for simple equality in the face of such male injustice you will be fortified in your righteousness by that most metro-sexual of males Tim Minchin:
Interesting, missed that.
