Some info for those that might be following this thread for travel plans.

The Pacific Hwy south of the Tweed River has now one lane each way open to get out of and get into QLD. The authorities have asked if you are not on the road in that area now please wait until tomorrow so the heavy traffic has a chance to clear up a bit.
