Yep Brockey had all those contributing factors that may have caused the accident your 100 Perscent correct, but you don't have to be a genius to figure out that he would still be here today if he did not have his race face on...
raceing on our roads is asking for trouble ,even the best drivers we have can come to grief ,excessive speed is a killer And there is no place for it on the road if you have a brain in your head...

Everybody "surmises". guesses. Whatever.
On local news this evening,
ANOTHER caravan rollover on the Newell.
And you tell me people don't need some instruction/training/advice......
ACCIDENTS. Are ALL caused by people's mistakes. with very few exceptions.
Mechanical. Which is also normally laziness/negligence in Maintenance or replacement..
Or road maint. which we lack a lot of here.
Hewey.
Regarding you little anecdote about scotch.
I've just opened my second 75th birthday present.
Another bottle of 15yr old single malt. "Glenfarclass."
Heaven. and they reckon the 18yr old in cupboard is even closer to heaven.
(at $200ish a bottle it'd better be hey)
I've gone off Johnny Walker double black after this.

Well, After 35 responses and 1015 viewings, since I started this tread,
I am sure most theories have been covered, But the fact remains, that two people are dead, what-ever the cause,
A couple of people from Tassie, who will never see their loved ones again,
As we will probably never know what caused their fate, all we can hope for is to remember to be extra careful while on the road,
No one knows what's around the next corner, or when you times up, take your time and enjoy this very big Country.
