Starting my 2nd week since my chemo treatment. Feeling reasonably good. All sweats have gone. I'm eating well. Still feeling a bit weak and shaky.
Went out for the first time today. Stephen took me as didnt feel up to driving.
Blood tests first then a few groceries. Glad to get back home after just 2 hours. They say the 3rd week gets even better. Looking forward to that.
Update. Although quite tired these days I am coping well. My hair is now falling out and at this rate won't take long but I am collecting a nice array of hats.
Other than that I seem to be coping fairly well. Haven't driven the van yet. Might try that tomorrow and have a wander around Stocklands.
One more week and back to RBWH for the 2nd round.

Hi Marj. I was worried because I hadn't seen any of your posts since you came back to Hervey Bay from Brissy. Silly me. I didn't realise you had gone on to page 2. Maybe you need to start a new page next time you post. Glad to hear you are feeling ok. I have had 2 chemo sessions (one every Friday for 30 weeks) & and I am also feeling good still. They say the drug I am getting may not cause me to lose all my hair but it will thin out. Time will tell. Maybe we can meet in Hervey Bay for a coffee/chat one day. We are house sitting in Maryborough for next 3 months at least. Cheers Alice

Hello to you two ladies - firstly Marj(Happy Wanderer) - you will become known as "The Hat lady" - make sure you keep your head covered or you will get sunburnt, like I did when I first shaved mine. Sad news re Jacinta's mum - and you take it easy.
Alice (Kandagal) - that's a long series of treatments - hope all goes well for you.
