What you or others say pretty much rolls off my back.
I've noticed Cindy occasionally shuts down topics, because it starts with a comment, observation, or criticism, then some get worked up and start making personal attacks on each other, or the comments become too extreme with their views.
I've haven't met anyone from this Forum, but have noticed "cliques" have formed.

This is the problem across so many internet forums .
Then there is the problem of tone , say I was to say something in jest , sounds funny to me but no one else can see the smile on my face (yes I know there are smilies but its just not the same) or hear the tone in my voice and take offense where only humor was intended.
Then of course there are the few **** stirrers that are just looking for a reaction .

I notice posts and stories being shut down when they are just starting to warm up. Why can't the Moderators just remove the offending comment and let the discussion continue? I don't sling MUCK, I just try to give back what I get.
The "DRIVING OVER THE AGE OF 70! is a good example. I'm not sure if I am pushing my luck, but time will tell.

Nobody has yet told me what is so Horrendously Offensive about the above comment, probably because a pack of Feral Dogs attacking one baby penguin haven't got time.
Simmo.............Maybe it was, "I don't sling MUCK", that has pushed you all over the edge

Hi All, I am closing this now. As I've mentioned before, we created this forum to be a positive place to discuss the grey nomad lifestyle. Our hope that was that members could have a positive place to exchange stories, ask for and provide advice and perhaps have a laugh or two. We welcome differences of opinions but do not allow personal attacks. If you disagree with someone's post, please ensure that your comments are directed to the topic itself, not at the person who posted it. If anyone has a problem with strings that have been closed or comments that have been removed (or not removed), please send me a PM. Thanks.
