I don't often agree with a lot of regular posters but I do agree with their right to say what they feel is right, rather than simply bypass a post because the questions to hard or they may offend a pretend friend, it's all about being honest with yourself and try not to offend people intentionally, I'm still learning about that, it's awfully hard to convey a dry sense of humour via a forum, or for that matter any humour or emotions.

To soften your words, and indicate you are writing in a humourous way, using an emoticon, or things like hahaha, can help.
I will often talk myself through a post I am not sure of, using different inflections on words - and being an optimist, I usually go for the positive aspect.
