I have no objection to people using a generator, at reasonable hours of the day.

I do object to them running off a long cord and point the 'noisy end' away from themselves without caring who else they impact with the noise.

I too carry one and use it when necessary but I keep it close to my van and aim the exhaust under my van , without getting asphyxiated of course.
