RIP Gary, although we never met and I only had the chance to read your words of wisdom for a much shorter time than many others, I enjoyed every post. Sadly missed by all grey nomads.

You may never have met Gary - but you may have heard him - on radio in Sydney, and as a booth announcer on Channel 10 - many moons ago now.

I don't know the man but from all I've read about him on this Forum, he was obviously highly regarded and well liked by some of the Forum's Old Timers who knew him...RIP..

Gary,s passing brings to mind the old adage of get on the road while you can. Gary had a rig very similar to mine and didn,t get to use it as infirmity stopped him.The moral is GO NOW , DON,T WAIT! Again RIP, brother. Bill

I didn't have the pleasure of meeting Gary either but have always been riveted to his posts on here, his humour and one liners were iconic.
