Hi Paul,
Enjoying your updates and pics. Just wanted to say we spent a few days at the Broken Hill Racecourse in August. Under the sails is a good spot. It was absolutely freezing when we were there so it was a good spot out of the wind.
Cheers Margaret

The locals say the weather will turn very hot here in e few days time .
You are right Margaret it is a nice place at the race track.
I have been scooting about town while there is no serious traffic getting about in account of the holiday today.

Hi Paul, thanks for the updates and the pictures. The one with the donkeys under the verandah is a classic. The museum at Loxton looks pretty nice. a lot of building there. Can you actually wander through them all?
Yeah, 42 c is not going to be nice. At least it is only 2 hot days before it cools back down.
Cheers, John

John . Yes of course one can walk through
Very nice set up , everything is well presented
If more museums did the good job that the Loxton
people do all myseums would attract more. visitors.
Can I say any more.

I have been traveling today to Ranmark and back to Holder Bend
Stopping at Kingston on River Well now that is a "nose pick " if ever I saw one
, not much to be had .
These lakes sure stretch out a long way .. At least 90 km from Ranmark to my camp at Holder.
Martin' Bend is good (care taker there) a few km to Loxton.
Plushs Bend is no good , close to Renmark & toilets
but not very big on size or appearance .
Cheers from me in SA

Back at Holder Bend
Could not find anything to photograph at Ranmark,
I went to a rose garden as the tourist sign said , got there , what a shocker
half dead and badly diseased rose bushes ,the clipping had not been done
for .....? a long time.
I really enjoy seeing properly cared for rose gardens
Hi to all
At the moment 4:17 Monday we are having a nice little storm ,
strong gusty winds and some light rain
I do hope the mobile hut does not leave me and get blown away, ending up against a tree..
Hot, very d....m hot here .
Hey ... I spent some time in Mildura today .....
I did not lose the car , I am getting better at finding my parked car..
No 12 v. TV any where to be had , have they stopped making them ?
Before going to SA I hope to spend a few days in Broken Hill
Must go to rescue my bits and pieces from the strong wind
Cheers from Paul
Hi Paul
In Adelaide it rained yesterday and is cool today. It will be in the mid to high 20's for a week now.
Hope that is more to your liking.
Cheers, John.
Everyone seems to be having a good time
Santa has copped it tough this year
I thought Santa lived at the North Pole ,
I found him set up camp beside a railway track
Can someone explain
Cheers Colleen

hi Jules 47
I am having a wonderful time here at Holder Bend
Not actually crowed but never the less it's very ok
Touring about here annoying as many locals as i have a mind to .
A few Santa picks , some one might get a buzz from looking .
A community group set this up every year for the past 22 years
I bought some cakes to support their fund raising .
Leaving here possibly on Friday to head towards the Yorke
peninsula about 10 hrs drive for a van
42+ temp coming so i am off to the cool area
I hope it is not too late for Christmas pic , oh well.
the museum at Loxton is unbelievable i have never seen a set up so well done before
Truely worth the entry fee $ 8 , I think it was
There is so much so well presented
Loxton town is very tidy and well presented

York Peninsula , leaving at 8 AM. Friday
A bit concerned about them SA drivers ,
will they know that I am from Qld
I am thinking that the roads would be pretty busy there
close to Port and the sea side.
O 'Well we will drive to conditions. ay.
Hope to catch you on the road again soon .... Sarg.
