We have a Truma B14 240 volt/gas water heater, 14 litre stainless tank, no anode required.
Have heard of people complaining about Truma, however this unit was professionally installed and has been very reliable.

Hi Santa
Yes, stainless steel & full copper tank HWS do not require anodes.
Copperlined stell tanks are sometimes fitted with an anode
