Thanks Neil and Bryan, looks like most have chosen the Lazeaway CP at Popanyinning, so if nobody has an objection we will go with that as the main alternative. The camp kitchen is very, very basic, so will need to have own cooking facilities for either inside or outside the van, also the usual camping chairs etc, BYO everything.
Core dates are Fri 31st Jan, Sat and Sunday 1st and 2nd Feb, but up to those attending if they want to arrive earlier or stay later etc .
Neil suggest book anyway if you want a powered site you can always cancel it if the van is not ready. Also for anyone else that wants power.
As Dunmowins will not be arriving in the area until late Sunday, they have chosen Pumphrey's Bridge where they will stay longer. Perhaps some of us that are leaving Lazeaway can pop in to visit or stay a day or two. It is still a choice for anyone who wants to free camp instead.

I spoke to Judy at Lazeaway and booked a powered site arriving Friday early afternoon and leaving Sunday after lunch. Sorry Dunmowing, would have liked to stay an extra day to meet you but can't stay longer at this stage.
Judy said I'm the fourth to book in and she is looking forward to meeting us. She also said we should seriously consider the pub lunch at Cuballing as they serve really good food and the atmosphere is great. If we do reconsider, I'm in.

Vic is arranging the pub meal on Sunday I think, have a look here
Thanks Wombat, We'll have to make and decision on Friday for lunch Saturday or lunch Sunday, the alternative is a BBQ at the CP, they have a gas BBQ there. The pub needs to know the day before. I'm sure Judy will let us use her phone to make a booking.

the best way is put them in a big pot of water, don't worry about skinning or anything ( no need to put them out if their misery even, they are only wombats) along with the wombat place 1 large rock, boil till rock is tender, throw away water & the wombat, chew on the rock.

Ok back on topic. I'll opt for Pumpries Bridge as it will be late Saturday or Sunday before I can get there and join you all for a visit depending on arrival in the area. Unfortunately my shift swap fell though so working Friday night shift. I'm not sure about the others yet.

Will be lots of chinwagging going on. I'll get there for my fair share under the gumtrees, just a little later than I'd hoped too.
Planning on grabbing a couple of caches on the way and want to check out Congelin Camp ground as well. (hope the link works)
