I think the size depends on whether you put it inline in the post window then it is quite large.
Sorry, I have no idea what you mean.
I click on attach image, choose a photo, then click upload. The screen goes darkish and the little wheel at the top turns until it's done.

You are a tough old nut John, swimming this time of year. The mornings are quite nippy at the moment even in North Qld. Love the photos, keep them coming. Do you have a photo of Toomulla, it's only a few k's from home but haven't yet checked out the camp spot there. I wanted to come up for a visit while you were there, but unfortunately had a heap of family stuff on that weekend. Safe and happy travels, you certainly are an inspiration to folks.
Cheers!
Chris
Hi Chris,
there are photos of Toomulla on the blog with access from the signature link, just scroll down for a few posts and you will find them.

Hi all,
the camera is a Fujifilm XP it is a compact camera with dust, water, heat and freezing features. I have it set for 12 megapixels and 16:9 size. The results are far too big to upload to the forum so I upload them to the blog first then right click the image and then click on "Copy Link Location" that has it ready to put it into a forum post by clicking on the little tree insert image and when the pop up comes up I paste the URL from the image into the top space. It is still too big so I cut it in half by using the sizer on the forum pop up, I drop it down from 1600/900 to 800/450 then click insert.

Set off too early from Boulder Creek and found myself passing the turnoff to St Lawrence at around 10am so I kept on to my next appointed stop at Calliope River Rest Area Camps6 #105. All up the day used up 500kms towards the Gold Coast, a bit much but worth the visit to Calliope. This is the biggest and busiest free camp that I have seen on my travels it stretches on both sides of the river in beautiful treed and grassed areas. Turn off the Bruce Highway at the Historical Village and drive through the space at the front of the village. It is well signed and most definitely worth putting on the agenda for the future, my intent is to travel north inland but will come here again whether going up or down. John

Testing.
Okay, so weather you click on upload or just go straight to post, if you scroll to the top of the page, you'll see it turning, saying 'uploading'. If it loads okay, it then says 'done'. For me, most of the time it just keeps 'uploading', never 'done'. it seems to me that it has a problem uploading during the daytime..the busiest time for the internet I assume.

Press insert and the picture should appear in the actual post.
Insert IMG_1505.JPG into the text area? It will be removed from the attachments section once you submit your post.
The popup will appear as above and select ok.

I don't know how it works for you but I don't upload the photo. I just pick the photo and post it and I get the little pics at the bottom.

I do it Beths way but have no problem. I can only think Beths photos may be a bit large. I reduce the size of mine beforehand.

no problems Beth you can post here as much as you want but others from the general forum may miss your input especially if the thread is called Towards the Gold Coast.
I am back in Brisbane now and will not be adding to it, other than to answer a question.
Sorry, I have no idea what you mean.
