Hey all - Norma and I will be at Greens Lake with bells on!!!! We have become fast friends while she has been here - the vodka is flowing freely!
Don't mind a spot of vodka myself Jules. I should have joined in.

I know this has no plural, and it's supposed to be, but Camps 6 has listed Green Lake Recreation Reserve, 475. I'm sure it's the one, going by everyone's description.

"Camp area 16km W of Stanhope or 24km E of Elmore.
Turn N off Midland Highway 14km W of Stanhope or 22km E of Elmore. 1km of dirt road."

I'm no good with co-ordinates. Head north out of Bendigo till you get to Elmore where you turn right and follow that road out somewhere between 17 and 24 ks. Will check my Camps book. Just past Corop. Then what Beth said. This is going to be fun. I hope there is a sign as I have no idea how far 24ks is.

Me neither Marj, I just don't understand them. Probably because I've never been shown. I just copied it out of Camps 6.

I ALWAYS use the coordinates supplied by the Camps book....it is very easy Beth, you should get someone to show you.
You'll never bother with directions again.

Sorry Beth, I really meant a Navigator, not a GPS.

Too true Beth. To be able to use the co-ordinates you do need either a navman/navigator/gps of which I have none. S.in.L. has a spare one he is going to give me, he's uploading the latest data onto it at the moment. Then I have to work out how to use it.

GPS, Navigator, whatever, don't have any of them. I've been thinking about getting one, but I have more important things to spend money on at the moment. Unless I happen to see one really cheaply.
All the blokes in my family have one so I do understand it would be very handy to have.
