My besty is eager to come too. She's not a nomad, but is interested in my adventures and GN friends.

Hi All,
I have had a call from Elaine (Ma). They are now at Clifton, and as the accommodation is less than great, she asked me to post an amended meeting place.
Anyone who wishes to go, please meet at:
10.30 am @
Picnic Point Lookout 164 Tourist Rd Toowoomba.
There is a nice cafe/coffee shop and plenty of easy parking. It is approximately 5 mins. drive from Toowoomba CBD and is also well signposted from the Warrego Highway.
If anyone wants more info. you can PM me...or click on the link below.
Thanks Pam, wasnt sure if I would get internet connection here and as it is, it comes and goes.
Will be great to finally meet you and everyone else. All the more the merrier.

Now be careful what you say if you have to talk about me. My mother always taught me "If you haven't anything nice to say, don't say anything at all"

Too true Jules. I thought after I posted that, I should have said, 'for those of us who think 18 is chilly'! My hands up!

Have just arrived home (I took the long way) from the Toowoomba meet up.
Was great to catch up with several GN's at once.
Thanks Blue for so graciously putting up with all of us females...But...on the plus side, it isn't every day that a man gets to have his own harem
The female contingent consisted of: Elaine (Ma), Julie (Jules47), Norma (Shadyandme), Beth (Beth54), Beth's friend Raewyn, and me.
We had morning tea and chattered away like old friends. Good company, in a perfect setting, on a beautiful day. What more could we ask!
I'm looking forward to catching up with all of you again...somewhere out there!!
Cheers.

I figured Pam would be home first, therefore be the first to report in.
My cattle dog(Raewyn) and I thoroughly enjoyed meeting everyone too. As when I met Jules and Pam a little while ago, we chatted on like we'd known each other forever.
We took the long slow way home via Murphy's Creek and Grantham. It's the first time we'd been to Grantham since the floods.

Looks like you have all had a wonderful day. It is great when a few catch up like that. Even better when we can catch more than once as I did with BarbandDaz when they came through town last week and Jonathan when he came through a few weeks ago.

Yep and had a great day all in all. Norma came with me and my grandson Tom to the bowls club for a meal tonight - I had to clear tables - couple of drinks - she has headed off to bed with Sahdy - what a good dog he is.
Went for a night drive to the lookout over town, I think Norma was quite surprised how big we are.
C'mon Marj - must be nearly there! Any news???
