Hi Gary & Kerry ..
So sorry to hear of your disappointment .. I know how you were hangin' to get out on the road ..
It seems the change of "tug" seems to be the most effective and least expensive way to get around the problem. The weight being the critical factor .. and the rest of the unit is still what you wanted in a caravan ..
I'm sure it'll all swing back in your favour ..
Even with my vehicle (being under warranty), I found that I needed to make decisions to take ownership and make the vehicle "mine" .. Once you have taken possession of a new vehicle or van etc, the dealers sincerity is not always forthcoming as it was at "sale" time.
It's for the long term and I then have only myself to blame for any misgivings ..
be great to catch up with you on the road ..

Who was the goose that left the stump hiding in the paddock where some poor unsuspecting conscientious driver could hit it.
There is TNT now.

the paddock I was in a week ago had swags of reefs, I almost got a couple of them, gotta have eyes in the back of your head on these things
feller down the road picked up a rock and put it through the comb and bent the intake auger, couldnt be straightened by normal methods, a new one was $45,000
god knows what a new complete front (header) would be worth
we have three, for different crops!
mistakes are costly on these things
3500kg I think
cheers
