Better to have your itch scratched than to drink alien beer JRH. Fortunately the publicans in SA know the sense in selling good Victorian beer! Below is what happens when you drink alien beer.
Okay I.m ready for the tirade.

Alien beer, What makes you think the aliens would dare to touch that Southwark or West End rubbish, it would tarnish their antennae and scramble all their communications. Come to think of it that may not be such a bad thing at all. Hey fellows do you think we have found a good use for the rubbish the Croweaters refer to as beer?????? LOL

Drongo and Wendy when are you heading to Venus bay we will be over there 7th march testing the new boat. If you are going before let me know how the fishing was we havnt done any there before have only fished at Streaky and Haslam. We are staying a week so should be able to get a couple of wind free days in that time. As for Robinvale we go through it all the time but have never stayed there. As for the beer thing i drink pure blonde because i thought it was better for you but after watching a thing on beer on tv last week it is not much lower than normal beer in carbs so might have to go back to VB but i prefer the grapes of the red variety. cheryl

Terro.that Tirade beer is hard to come by here in NSW,is it a local drop?.Shut up Disco.Just having a lend.Cheers.Ibbo.
Terro said

No Ibbo it's not a local drop. Tiradeis brewed in the Principality of Polgonia and imported under licence via SA where it is relabelled Southwark. Polgonian beer is not well known as you have probably guessed and the taste is one of rotten socks and jocks. They recommend when drinking it to pour it in a glass, pour a glass of scotch, tip the beer out and drink the scotch, this is the Polgonian scotch chaser. Not to be confused with Chasers War on Everything!!! If you have drunk SA beer then you know what the taste is like. Apart from that it is OK, cheap and friendly.

Sir Terro...................you are ONCE AGAIN wrong!!! Emphatically wrong!!!
Polgonian beer is indeed well known, for it is from there, that Victorian beer is derived also.
Polgonians are employed to brew this beverage and are very much encouraged to imbibe as they perform their duties! As a result of this, their bladders require frequent relief and this is done in a seperate part of the building and into a clay earth tank. From here, this liquid is then pumped into stainless steel drums and is then shipped to the labelling room, where it is labelled Victorian Beer.
The importers then decant the liquid.......into kegs............label it with the different CUB and Fosters labels and send it out. The poor ignorant Victorians are none the wiser and lap it up!!
I may add Sir terro.........the jockstraps and rotten socks are recycled!!

Thats a tarpon, caught on a lure I made myself, on the beach just down the road. I live here, and time to time , have to get away to get demagnetized. Too much of a good thing, you understand.I try to post some pics of the tiddlers we catch here. Bill

wrap em up in tinfoil and throw them on the fire. It help if they are dead and not 3m across.I run a charter fishing boat here and have done so for 16 years , so I have the odd photo. The mantas are spectacular, and come into the bay quite often. That one is right beside my 6 ft dinghy, eating little prawns. Its a hard life here, but I force myself. Bill

Yeah Bill12........it really sounds like you are struggling. Keep up the effort mate.
Those Mantas are very speccy. You wouldn't have to go too far out to get a feed of fish either would you?? What sort of boat do you use for the charters??
I expect a free fishing trip with a guaranteed catch when I get up that way okay?? LOL LOL
By the way ......be careful using the word tinfoil or alfoil on here. It is a revered product for near religious reasons!!
You do have your alfoil beanie........do you not??

Sorry, no alfoil beanie. We are troppy up here, anyway. I hav 7M Alum cat which I fish around maggie island, but sorry, no freebies. I have an expensive travel habit to support. We have been catching some nice grunter off the boat ramp just down the street, and these fish are as good to eat as barras and not off season as barras at the moment. Trying to sell the business at the moment so I can spend more time on the road. Its the build up to the wet at the moment, and hot and humid. At these times I become religous and worship the 3 A s. Armchairs , aircon , and austar. Will Be heading south in early Feb.to harass the sisters, In SE QLD. See you on the road. Bill
