On the Muray, but not that far north. At the time the river was 1.5 metres below sea level at this location - Feb 2008.

Not Mannum. There's a very friendly caravan park from where the photo was taken.

Come on, somebody must have a bit of an idea.
You may have even parked in the caravan park across the road from this spot.
There's supposed to be a wetland in the foreground and to the left, but of course that didn't happen in 2008.
The park owners are very friendly and there's a mini golf (putt-putt) on the park.

To keep the quiz moving, if we get no answer from Cruising Granny by the end of the weekend, myself or whoever is on first after midnight may post a new pic (btw I'm in WA so it will only be 9pm here so I might take some beating).
Cheers Jon

Sorry folks. I've been slack. The place is called Avoca Dell. It's upstream and on the other (eastern) side of the Murray River, out of Murray Bridge.
It's a nice park, and that's the view. It's really busy and a bit noisy on the weekends with boating, skiing and jet ski activity.
In the evening the houseboats tie up at the Dell. The bird life is fairly active as well.
The people are really friendly, the park is clean and I enjoyed my month stay over. It's only 40 mins to Adelaide on the freeway.
Murray Bridge is a large regional centre with plenty of shopping and pubs, and there's lots of sightseeing day trips within easy reach of "The Bridge".
No, they didn't pay me to write this.

It looks very green in the countryside around it, so maybe somewhere in Tasmania?

Not NSW & not Tassie either but a southern state none the less, & not actually a dairy but in the grounds of a small but popular business to do with a dairy product on a tourist drive in a major tourist area
Wish I could see what you'll post.
Cheers,
Sheba.
