It hasn't stopped raining here in Sth West Gipps. Vic. all day and is bitterly cold. If it doesn't stop raining soon we will get flooded and closed roads again tomorrow for sure, if so it will be the third time in a month.
Enough is enough.

22 in Logan today. Lovely and sunny.
I'm too much of a cold frog for short sleeves and 3/4 pants though Marj. Jeans and 3/4 sleeve pullover most of the day, with a puffy vest on hand for the cool breeze. Looking after the lungs. Lots of people around here with colds or virus'.

Wet in Townsville today (why? it's supposed to be the "dry season") not cold though, so I guess we are a lot better off than our southern friends.
Cheers!

Well, told ya so. Roads flooded and closed, farm land well on the way to flooded but no water laying around the village I live in so I'm lucky that way. I am keeping an eye on some roads though as I have to drive the bus again this afternoon and could end up in the hills again the way things are looking.
I will be up in that Townsville weather mid August. Yeh.

Down in the Geelong area, the rain has eased today but the ground is waterlogged and lots of water lying in paddocks and over roads.
Horrific day yesterday. Went to Melbourne. Rain all day, traffic, road rage. CBD at 5.30 p.m. Definately not my choice of how to spend a day.

Carnavon Gorge was wet and miserable. Rained all day yesterday and didn't look like letting up today. We gave up and left and are now in Mitchell. Still light drizzle and cool.
Anyone heading north through Roma, Emarald to Charters Towersbe warned - lots of roadworks and stoppages.
