Lucky guess, I've been to BH 3 or 4 times and dont remember this ant.
This pic is of a place which has been discussed this week on the forum.

Absolutely Jim! We saw this waterfall a couple of years ago when it was drought affected, then again last October after heavy rainin the area and it still looked the same. Amazing that such a small stream could carve out such a huge gorge.
Granny has posted a photo, I was a filler-in while we waited for her.

Sorry folks, have I missed the photo boat? I've been entertaining fellow nomads as they passed through Adelaide. You never know where they're going to turn up next. I don't know where the other 2 photos are from, the large ant and the gorge, but here's my contribution. It's an exclusive spot in an out-of-the-way place.
Hi cruising granny is this pic in SA maybe ?

No, not SA. Yes it's WA's Kimberleys. Now where in the Kimberley?

Havent been there yet, but Mr Dancer suggests it might be the Dimond Gorge on the Fitzroy River at Mornington station?
Looks lovely, hope to see it this year.

Bingo! Mr Dancer is correct.
And they wanted to build a dam right there to irrigate cotton crops south of Broome.
It didn't happen thank Goodness.
It's a beautiful place, and no longer a cattle station.

Jimricho, since you picked my last one, would you like to post a photo for us pls?
Is it that place in the northern territory where the camels are?? I can't for the life of me remember its name, its run by the guy that used to be on tv many years ago with the big bushy beard :)

Cryptic clue....
"A sheep with a name in the middle of a big paddock"
After that clue, I want the full name of the place.
Also many GNs have driven right around it but not to it.

It was scanned off a 6 x 4 print so the sign wasn't readable to start with.
Another hint, you'll need to get off the bitumen road to go there although it's quite centrally located.
That's my tent in the background, I've come up in the world since that piccy was taken

hmmm I can't for the life of me remember the name of the man at the farm he used to have a tv show many many and lots more manys years ago, he had a big bushy grey beard from memory (although that doesn't seem to be helping me much at the moment) he rode his camels everywhere. There's a camel buried there that had been used during the war.........gosh hope someone can help me out here. I had a camel ride there many years ago. Now back to the pic, its probably no where near the place I'm talking about

A pure guess and not an educated one at that but would it be Harry Butler?

Noel Fullerton might be the bloke Gilly. His camel farm was near Alice Springs... ?

No JRH I don't think thats him, he's your typical Australian bushman that spent his life in the bush with his camels, I actually met him while I was there but it was part of an organised tour so we weren't there for long, I will have to hunt out my photos and hope the name of the station is on one of them. This is one of those stories I'm going to lose sleep over ha ha

Know that feeling very well pal, you finally drop off only to wake up remembering the name and then can't get back to sleep.

It's not a camel farm. It is named after a person however. The surveyors went to a lot of trouble to make sure that flag pole was located in the correct place. It's right in the middle of somewhere!

Yes this is the centre of Mainland Australia, as determined by the "centre of gravity" method. More details at http://www.nt.gov.au/placenames/origins/centreaustralia.shtml
