Have been informed by the better half that this pic is too hard?
Anyone travelling south from Norseman would have passed this town and may have stayed at the community run budget c/van park at $10 per couple per night.

We're off to WA this year, so if nobody guesses it, I might know the answer by August!

Is it Salmon Gums?
The name always sounded so romantic on the weather report each night on TV.
The reality is completely opposite. There's nothing romantic about Salmon Gums.

Hi Chris,
yes, thats the place. Nothing there but a pub a few buildings, and lots of peace and solitude. Spent a couple of days there last year. Love our own space.
Your go.

Sorry Chris but we're getting impatient so I'll pop one in for now
Anyone recognise this place? It was a very cold winters day.
No, no, Petrified Forest at Discovery Bay near Portland!

Sorry first answer counts.

Good pick, it is the petrified forest near Portland,
Thought it might take a bit longer to get
Your turn it seems.
Cheers

As soon as we saw the photo we knew we'd been there, but it took quite a long time of trawling through our own photos and racking our brains to come up with the right place.
We'll give Cruising Granny the rest of the day in case she signs on again, then this evening (which as we are in WA will be long after all the kiddies in the east are in bed) if Chris hasn't put one up then we will.

I had a pic showing the petrified stacks with windmills in the background which would have made it easier but I though I'd save that pic in case no one could get the first one
No. don't know this one. Must admit that its the other half that not only recognises the photo's, but exactly where and when we were there. I usually can't even remember where we stayed the previous night.

Sorry folks, have I missed the photo boat?
I've been entertaining fellow nomads as they passed through Adelaide. You never know where they're going to turn up next.
I don't know where the other 2 photos are from, the large ant and the gorge, but here's my contribution.
It's an exclusive spot in an out-of-the-way place.

Lucky guess, I've been to BH 3 or 4 times and dont remember this ant.
This pic is of a place which has been discussed this week on the forum.
Thought you knew that the person who Identifies the Pic. goes next.
Cheers,
